Richard Qualter MSPT, ATC

Rich graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1991 with a BS in Physical Therapy. He subsequently returned to Quinnipiac to complete his advanced Masters of Science in Physical Therapy with specialization in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. Rich has been a practicing physical therapist for over 20 years and serving the Cape Cod community since 1996. He has advanced certifications and training in manual therapy and mobilization including competencies in spinal and extremity thrust techniques. He also has a strong history of lower extremity biomechanics, orthotic prescription, and fabrication which he continues to use in his everyday practice.

As a physical therapist, athletic trainer and strength & conditioning specialist, Rich has also served high-level athletes in many roles including highlights such as the 1996 Olympic Games, US National figure skating, and the PGA tour. He continues to work with local athletes of all ages and levels in a sports performance and Rich is the founder and co-owner of orthopedics & sports physical therapy of Cape Cod.


Dina Qualter, MPT, CHT, ATC

Dina Qualter MPT, CHT, ATC

Dina is a 1990 graduate of University of New Hampshire with a BS in Athletic Training. She worked in multiple roles as an Athletic Trainer before returning to the University of St Augustine and completing her graduate degree in physical therapy in 1996. She returned to practice physical therapy on Cape Cod in 1999, has served the greater Cape area since that time. Dina has strong manual skills and a focus on functional exercise progression in her physical therapy approaches.

Dina has also completed a certificate in advanced graduate studies in upper extremity and hand therapy from Drexel University in 2004. Completing her national certified hand therapy requirements (CHT) in 2005, she remains one of the few CHT options on Cape Cod today.

Dina is an original partner and co-owner of Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy of Cape Cod.


Robert Reed Jr. PT, MS

Robert Reed Jr. PT, MS

Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University’s Boston Bouve College in 1975 and his Master of Science Degree from Boston University in 1979. Bob has practiced Physical Therapy for over 35 years; including 10 years as on owner of Challenge Physical Therapy in West Springfield, MA. Bob has also served for over 20 years as an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy in the Physical Therapy Department of Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Bob relocated to his current residence in Harwich in 2003 and has served the Cape Cod community since that time.

Bob has a strong background in: Orthopedic Physical Therapy, the management of Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), assessment and treatment of the injured worker (FCE’s, Work Conditioning/Work Hardening, return to work planning), and spine conditioning in close association with the New England Baptist Hospital Spine Center.

In addition to maintaining his license to practice Physical Therapy in Massachusetts, Bob also holds a current certification as a Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is co-owner of Challenge Total Fitness in Northampton, MA with his son Brandon.


Christina Tilton DPT

Christina Tilton DPT

Christina grew up in Cape Cod through the Dennis-Yarmouth school district. She went off cape for college, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Haven in 2014, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2017. Her other clinical experiences include orthopedics outside of Boston serving low-income populations, a public clinic in West Texas with a concentration in women’s health, and cardiac ICU/DCU in California. Her current interests lie in orthopedic/sports rehabilitation, balance, and geriatric rehabilitation. She is pursuing certification in Manual Therapy and will be certified in Dry Needling by the end of 2018.
